Tonic A & Tonic B mineral blend are the ingredients needed to add to your Tower. This is the food the plants need to grow. It is recommended to only use the mineral blend that comes from the Juice Plus.

Below is what seedlings that are ready to go in the Tower Should look like. Be sure there is some roots growing outside the rock wool.

**You can use table top grow lights to help your seedlings in the starter tray get started.**

You can also purchase young seedlings at your local hardware or gardening center. Just gently rinse off all the dirt from the roots. Cut a rock wool in 1/2 and then surround the roots with the rock wool and secure with a rubber band around the outside.

Other Useful tips to help maintain your Tower Garden:

In the beginning you may need to check your PH often. But once your Tower is growing and thriving you will need to only once in a while. Checking the PH is always a great tool to use if you need to trouble shoot any concerns with the Tower.

Note: Some plants grow better at certain PH levels. Try to pick ones that will grow better together. For example: Strawberries like a more acidic environment and not to be overwatered.

Watering & root maintenance:

Depending on how warm it is outside you will need to refill your Tower with water & nutrients. (Tonic A & B mineral blend.) You can use a ruler to help you know how much water to fill.

Every 1-2 months consider emptying the large tank and cleaning it out and putting fresh water and nutrients. The nutrients are safe to dump out in your garden or grass.

Clean towers with vinegar and water. Or just soap and water. Try to avoid bleach so they do not yellow.

From time to time. You should be checking that the roots do not overgrow. You can gently remove the basket or lift the tower segments out to inspect and maintain.

Timer: Your Tower Garden timer is not intended to get wet. Be sure to keep it properly covered and stored when outdoors.
